The risk is huge that a new domain you have bought will be penalized by Google in the beginning and put in the so called sandbox if if you build links to the domain to quick.

What you need to do to avoid the sandbox, and getting listed way back in the SERPS, is to as quick as possible put some relatade content on the site. Just some text including the keywords your site is about.

By doing this the search engine can easier identify you site and when you are ready to start your project your site probably has enough trust to avoid the sandbox.

I do this with all my new domains and it certainly helps alot. Try it yourself. This makes the SEO work much easier.

Yesterday I was attending the yearly SEO-event here in Sweden. The search engine optimization business is still quite small here compared to USA and other markets but it is growing every year. This year over 60 persons attended this full day event.

It started out with some free networking and this time I focused on getting to know other entrepreneurs and SEO professionals I had not talked to before. A lot of awesome new contacts and my pocket was full of business cards after just a few hours.

The next step was a series of speakers talking about subjects like perfomance based Internet marketing, domain name strategies and entrepreneurship. Every single one of them were very interesting even if most of it was not new for me.

After this the organizers had prepared a wine tasting and a following dinner. And after filling our stomachs with excellent food the sponsors served massive amounts of beer and wine, and you can guess where we went after that. A very nice and rewarding evening.

It has been a while since you last time saw me blogging for the international crowd of blog readers. I have been focusing on my presence on the Swedish market and I have seen a phenomenal growth in my business over the past 4-5 months. This is good news because now I am more confident and ready than ever to travel on the road to freedom.

If you are a new reader I am the entrepreneur, blogger and writer that has been blogging on the blog “My journey to freedom” where I wrote about personal development.

This new blog will include everything about online business and entrepreneurship. I am now confident enought to call myself and Internet marketing and SEO expert and the main focus will be on these two wide subjects, except from all the covering of web startups and fellow entrepreneurs.
